SREI Infra and India Power Corporation Ltd (IPCL)-promoted Dishergarh Power Supply Company (DPSC) has earmarked an investment plan of Rs 26,450 crore in the power sector over the next few years.
Out of the total investment outlay of Rs 26,450 crore, Rs 25,000 crore would be utilised for adding additional power generation capacity across the country, while the rest Rs 1,450 crore would go towards the strengthening of its distribution network, according to Mr Hemant Kanoria, Chairman, DPSC Ltd.
IPCL-DPSC Ltd, which currently has an installed capacity of power generation of about 77.4 MW, would add another 4,362 MW in various locations of Rajasthan, West Bengal, Bihar, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
