Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals today reported 9.44 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 36.50 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 33.35 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company declined to Rs 373.66 crore during the July—September quarter as against Rs 392.32 crore in the year—ago period, Dishman Pharma said in a regulatory filing.
The company’s shares closed at Rs 347.30 apiece down 4.07 per cent on the BSE.
