Divis Laboratories has said that its net profit rose 20.65 per cent to Rs 122.55 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 101.57 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.
Total income of the company stood at Rs 417.42 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 314.97 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal, Divis Laboratories said in a filing to the BSE today.
In another filing to the BSE, the company said that its Director, Mr P. Gundu Rao, has resigned from the board.
Established in 1990, Divis Laboratories is primarily engaged in the production of active pharma ingredients (APIs) and intermediates.
