Diagnostic chain Dr Lal PathLabs today reported 27.20 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to ₹ 40.2 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 31.6 crore during January-March, 2016-17.
Consolidated operating revenue rose to ₹ 266.8 crore for the quarter. It was ₹ 219.9 crore for the same period, a year ago.
For entire 2017-18, the company’s net profit rose to ₹ 171.8 crore as against ₹ 155.6 crore in 2016-17.
Consolidated operating revenue for the year stood at ₹ 1,056.9 crore. It was ₹ 912.4 crore in the previous financial year.
The company’s board has recommended a final dividend of ₹ 3 per equity share of Rs 10 each for 2017-18. This is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 1.50 already paid out, Dr Lal PathLabs said.
Its shares today closed at ₹ 806.10 on the BSE, down 1.26 per cent from previous close.
