Vintage Taj Falaknuma Palace, part of the Taj Resorts & Palaces, restored to its pristine beauty, is being presented as a destination for weddings. Through ‘Timeless Traditions,’ it seeks to offer a bouquet of unique and enchanting wedding experiences.

The location of the palace 2,000 feet above Hyderabad on a hillock and the twinkling lights down under makes one feel that the stars have actually landed on earth to take part in the wedding.

It says “Matches are made in heaven, weddings are made at the Taj.”

Taj Falaknuma or ‘Mirror of the sky’ is known for the legendary Nizami hospitality, its grandiose furniture and cuisine. Once a home for the Kohinoor and Jacob diamonds, the palace served as a home of the royal family, known for their wealth and way of life.

Where Gol Bunglow with its stain-glass dome and 2,000 feet Durbar hall or the ballroom of paradise are being presented as locations for weddings and receptions. So one can drift back to the past and enjoy the hospitality in the midst of Nizami style surroundings. The 101-seater dining table provides that truly luxurious dining experience.

According to Deepa Misra Harris, senior Vice-president, Sales and Marketing, Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, “A wedding at the Taj is orchestra of the best of everything – cuisine and magical settings.”

During this month, 51 Buckingham Gate, Taj Suites and Residences, London will unveil the Cinema Suite created by designer Sabyasachi.

“These have been inspired and designed to match great personalities. Unless this is done, it would give an impression that they have been artificially planted,” he felt.

The suite derives inspiration from motion pictures across the world and blends diverse cultures, eras and genres. The Cinema Suite is inspired from Hollywood as well as Indian cinema of 1950s touching upon both Satyajit Ray and Marilyn Monroe.

The Cinema Suite is the second designer collection for 51 Buckingham Gate after the launch of Jaguar Suite.

The 51 Buckingham Gate combines the convenience of a luxury hotel and the exclusivity of a private home.
