Electronics Corporation of India Ltd achieved a record turnover of Rs 1,729 crore during the financial year 2012-13.
The earnings before interest, taxes depreciation and amortisation stood at Rs 103 crore.
The public sector undertaking, under the Department of Atomic Energy, reported a turnover of Rs 1,474 crore in 2011-12.
The Hyderabad-based company had three major achievements during the last fiscal. These were the installation and commissioning of a ground station for earth observation satellite at Antarctica, building an integrated security system for the Indian Chancery at Kabul, and supplying two lakh artillery fuzes to the Indian Army, according to P. Sudhakar, Chairman and Managing Director.
