Elecon Engg secures Rs 33-cr order from BHEL

Leading material handling equipments and transmission products manufacturer Elecon Engineering Company Ltd has procured an order worth Rs 33 crore from public sector Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) for a project in Chhattisgarh. The order is for supply of four sets of wagon tippler for raw materials handling systems of NMDC steel plant at Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh, said Mr Prayasvin Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Elecon Engineering, here on Friday. Gujarat-based Elecon Engineering, a pioneer in the manufacture of material handling equipment, supplies equipment core sectors including fertiliser, cement, coal/power generation, chemical, steel plant and port mechanisation.
