Riding on the back of higher revenues and lower expenses, Electrosteel Steels Ltd saw its losses narrowing.
The company posted a net loss of ₹297 crore against a net loss of ₹486 crore. Revenue from operations grew by 26 per cent to ₹762 crore (₹605 crore). Expenses dropped by nearly six per cent to ₹1,085 crore (₹1,149 crore).
The company’s scrip was down by 0.18 per cent to close at ₹5.60 on the BSE.
