Emerson Process Management, a part of the $21-billion US-based Emerson Inc., has completed the integration of the Chennai-based Fisher Sanmar acquisition.
The company acquired minority stake in Fisher Sanmar in April for an undisclosed amount.
The 275 employees of Fisher Sanmar — the former joint venture between Fisher (this was acquired by Emerson in 1992) and Sanmar — will now be part of Emerson Process, according to Mr Sabee Mitra, President of Emerson Process Management, Asia-Pacific.
Fisher Sanmar manufactures low control valves at its Karapakkam facility in Chennai, a company official told newspersons.
