Volkswagen India will present emission results from evaluations of its vehicles in India by the end of November.
In a statement issued today, the company said a combination of several brands, models, engine variants and gearboxes in addition to different model years that need to be analysed, and so establishing detailed facts is taking a longer time.
Representatives of Volkswagen Group India had met Ministry of Heavy Industries and ARAI today and updated them on the evaluations so far on the emissions issue with reference to India.
VW will present its results from the evaluations by November end and the representatives will keep the authorities concerned updated on the analysis. The subsequent steps will depend on the findings from these evaluations, the statement said.
