Public sector EPC major Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has secured Rs 720-crore consultancy services contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) for the Integrated Refinery Expansion Project (IREP), Kochi.
The project involves enhancing the crude oil refining capacity from 9.5 million tonnes per annum to 15.5 mtpa, Engineers India said in a statement to the stock exchanges.
The company said that it would offer consultancy services for project management, detailed engineering, procurement, construction management & supervision for the project. EIL has to its credit 50 petroleum refinery projects.
