Eros International has begun marketing Rajnikant starrer, Kochadaiyaan , and has entered into strategic tie-up with Karbonn Mobiles. The company has also assigned Tamil satellite rights to Jaya TV and Telugu rights to Lakshmi Ganapathy Films, Hyderabad.
“The film is complete and is in active post production,” Eros said in an announcement to the stock exchanges. The film is expected to be released by the end of the year.

The “action-adventure film” will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English. Starring along with Rajnikant are Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Sharat Kumar, Nazzar, Shobana, and Aadi. The film has been directed by Soundarya Ashwin with story and supervision by K. S. Ravikumar.

The music release of the film is planned to be held in Tokyo and multi-city premieres of the film will take place in Los Angeles and London too.
Eros International, part of the Eros group, has been in the media business for the past 35 years. Today, it has a library of 1,100 films.
The company achieved a turnover of Rs 963 crore in 2011-12, on which it made a net profit of Rs 148 crore.
On the BSE, the Eros International share ended at Rs 184.45 on Thursday, Rs 8.10 higher than the previous close.
