Dubai-headquartered Essar Projects, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, has won a construction project worth $50 million in Papua New Guinea. This is Essar Projects’ (EPL) sixth international contract won this year and the second by the company in Papua New Guinea. With this project, the company’s order book position has increased to more than $4 billion, EPL said in a statement.

EPL would design, construct and commission the proposed mixed use development project, including construction of an office complex. The project would be completed in 22 months. Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Peter Charles Paire O'Neill will inaugurate the project next month, the company said in a statement.
