Toyota Kirloskar Motor has reported a 98.89 per cent jump in its sales in July at 13,592 units.
The company had sold 6,834 units in the corresponding month last year, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said in a statement today.
TKM, a joint venture between the world’s largest car-maker Toyota and the Kirloskar Group, attributed the growth to healthy sales of its latest sedan Etios and small car Liva.
“The month of July has seen an impressive growth indicative of growing volumes and increasing sales of Toyota vehicles in India. The customer response to Etios and Etios Liva has been very good,” the company Deputy Managing Director (Marketing), Mr Sandeep Singh, said.
The company sold 4,095 units of Etios and 2,551 units of Live last month, he added.
