Everest Steel Building Solutions, the pre-engineered building (PEB) division of Everest Industries Ltd, launched here on Friday what it claims is India’s first technical manual on PEB technology.

The manual, developed in consultation with industry stakeholders, is aimed at serving as guide for architects, design engineers and project managers.

Manish Sanghi, Managing Director, Everest Industries, said in a statement: “The country’s pre-engineered steel building industry is estimated to be ₹5,000 crore and growing at a rapid pace. We estimate strong double digit growth for the industry to continue.

“Being one of the largest PEB makers with three manufacturing facilities, we have delivered more than 50,00,000 sq ft of construction of industrial infrastructure in the southern region. We intend to further strengthen our project acquisition and delivery credentials in this part of the country.”

Everest Steel Building Solutions has already completed more than 2,000 PEB projects covering more than 5 crore sq ft of construction across 275 cities in 29 States. This includes the Ro-Ro Ferry Terminal in Gujarat and the tallest PEB building in the country, the Goa Shipyard, last year.

In the South, Everest recently completed the construction of a 3,23,000 sq ft factory for Tata Power near Bengaluru and is currently constructing a warehouse for Reliance Retail in Belagavi. It has also bagged an order to construct a plant for auto components maker Motherson Sumi near Chennai.
