ExxonMobil Lubricants has kick-started this year’s experiential training programme, Udaan, in Hyderabad today which aims to upgrade skills of mechanics and retailers.

Udaan is an exclusive Mobil initiative aimed at educating and creating awareness on safety, lubrication fundamentals and inventory management by providing training to Mobil retailers, mechanics, Mobil 1 Car Care Outlet (M1CCO) personnel and car dealerships across India.

This year, Mobil has inducted four brand new training buses into the fleet, with one bus earmarked for each region. Of the four new buses, two will be based out of the National Capital Region (NCR), while one bus each will be stationed at Mumbai and Hyderabad. Mobil has set out with the ambitious plan of training 30,000 mechanics, retailers and dealers.

The programme offers trade partners and associates an opportunity to understand how to handle critical workshop and vehicle maintenance situations where safety is always a concern.

“At Mobil, we take pride in safety, technology leadership and excellence in customer service. The campaign is an initiative that reiterates our commitment to our customers by addressing their concerns, while driving developments to help them make their operations more efficient and profitable. The campaign aims to equip our partners with skills, knowledge and products that will enable them to achieve excellence in their businesses,” Anirvan Roy, General Manager, Automotive Lubricants, ExxonMobil Lubricants, said in a statement.

The Mobil’s specially-designed bus will travel across several localities to engage retailers, service advisors and mechanics.
