FDI offers certain negligible constraints to few selected segments of the economy like traders, but it ushers innumerable opportunities to the other parts of the economy like customers, farmers and Government, said Dr Koshy Abraham, Professor of Marketing, Indian Institute Of Management, Ahmedabad.
He was speaking at the SDM College of Engineering and Technology's Foundation Day meet on ‘FDI Issues in Indian Retail Sector.'
After the inauguration, four technical sessions were conducted for presentations of the research papers chaired by Dr M.R.Shollapur, Director, Siddhaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur; Dr R.L. Hyderabad, Department of Commerce, Karnataka University, Dharwad; Dr N.G.Chachidi, Director, Adept Institute of Management Studies, Dharwad and Dr S.R. Keshav, Bangalore University.
