Ferns N Petals smells an opportunity in tier-2, 3 cities

Ferns N Petals, which conceptualised the lifestyle floral boutique concept, is targeting the tier-II and -III towns and cities to grow and strengthen its presence. The company is planning to double its retail presence in India within the next two years.

Anil Sharma, General Manager, Retail and Franchise, FNP said the company delivers floral solutions across 400 cities and towns in India at present and around 150 countries worldwide. It has a network of 130 retail stores across the country, in both metros and tier-II markets at present.

After inaugurating the second exclusive store of FNP at R S Puram in Coimbatore on Wednesday, Sharma said the floral boutique offers a variety of fresh cut flowers and unique flower arrangements, artificial and dry flowers, and an exclusive range of object d’art such as scented candles, candle stands, imported Italian glass vases, exclusive gift accessories with intricate carving, photo-frames, designer gift items, exclusive incense range based on aromatherapy and potpourris, etc.

“This boutique will offer a vast variety of exquisite flowers from roses and lilies to orchids, birds of paradise, helicon, spider orchids to match the distinct needs and tastes of the customers,” he said, referring to the Coimbatore store.

The odyssey of Ferns N Petals retailing commenced in 1994 with a single retail outlet. It has today emerged as a single branded retail chain of florists in India with a network of 130 retail outlets.
