New Delhi: A fire that broke out around 7.00 pm on Tuesday at Indian Oil Corporation's one million tonne Guwahati Refinery after a blast in one of the tanks has been controlled.
In a statement issued here, the company said the fire has been extinguished by the fire-fighting team of the refinery.
All the units are safe and operating normal, the company said adding that there have been no major injuries due the blast. The refinery management is examining the cause of blast, it added.
