A fire broke out at drug-maker Shasun Pharmaceuticals’ factory in Puducherry during early hours yesterday, said an announcement to the BSE.
However, there were no casualties or major material damage the company said.
The fire broke out at the packing section of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for its anti-inflammation product Ibuprofen. Company officials were not available for comment.
