Foradian inducts three into advisory board

Foradian Technologies, a company working in EdTech sector and known for its product Fedena, recently inducted three persons into its advisory board.

A press release from the company said here on Thursday that Srikanth Iyer, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pearson India; Yaron Valler, Managing Director (MD) of Sela Venture Capital; and Vikas Vig, Partner at the Delhi-based Mohinder Puri & Co, were inducted as its advisors.

Iyer will advise Foradian on scaling up its operations. He co-founded Edurite Technologies, an e-content provider in the education space. Iyer is now a venture partner in Unitus Seed Fund. He is also the co-founder and CEO of HomeLane.com.

Valler was previously the MD of Hasso Plattner Ventures (a fund focusing on enterprise start-ups started by the cofounder of SAP - Hasso Plattner). He will guide Foradian on high-value enterprise sale and help it expand operations in the US and Europe, it said.

The release said that Vig has over 30 years of experience in structuring of joint ventures, foreign collaborations and devising entry strategies. He has expert knowledge of the regulatory framework in India pertaining to foreign inward investment and local taxation, audit and accounting practices. Vig serves as a director on the board of many multinational companies in India, it said.

Foradian’s Fedena is a software for school and college management. The release said Fedena makes it easy to automate the educational institutions using 50-plus feature-rich modules.

Foradian, which was founded in 2009, had its office in Mangaluru in its initial years. Now the corporate office of the company is located in Bengaluru.
