It had sold 15,282 units in July 2014.
Ford India’s domestic sales were at 4,362 units last month, down 42.54 per cent from 7,592 units a year ago, the company said in a statement.
It said exports during the month stood at 8,754 units as compared to 7,690 units in July 2014, up 13.83 per cent.
“We are excited to usher in the next phase of growth for Ford in India as we gear up to introduce three new products in next nine months, beginning with the much appreciated compact sedan Figo Aspire,” said Anurag Mehrotra, Executive Director Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India.
The Figo Aspire will go on sale in the middle of August and will bring more customers to the Ford family, he added.
