Ford India on Monday lunched its first Quick Lane service centre in India at Metro Ford here.
The centre is equipped to take care of customers’ routine vehicle maintenance and light—repair needs quickly, including oil and filter changes, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa Executive Director (Customer Service Operations) John Cooper told reporters here.
With the launch of India’s first Quick Lane service, Ford India will have 11 sales and service centres in Bangalore, he said.
“We have introduced the option of speedy, no—appointment necessary service during hours that fit the busy schedules of our customers,” Cooper said.
Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, the 10,000 sq ft service centre can service 35 cars per day, he added.
Ford India has more than 241 sales and service outlets across 127 cities and plans to increase the number to over 500 by mid—decade, Cooper said.
