Ford India on Friday unveiled its ‘urban SUV’ EcoSport. The vehicle, which will compete with Renault’s Duster, will be available in four trims, giving consumers three engine options as well as manual and an automatic transmission option in petrol.
The company said as part of its experiential campaign for the SUV, it will offer an opportunity for hundred consumers to drive ‘EcoSport’.
Joginder Singh, President and Managing Director of Ford India, said, “With this experiential drive commencing in May we will go further in meeting their aspirations.”
The price of the vehicle is expected to be revealed in May.
Also it will open modular interactive zones ‘EcoSport Urban Hub’ in 12 cities in a phased manner. On Friday, it launched the first two hubs in Mumbai and New Delhi.
In the following weekends, the ‘EcoSport Urban Hub’ will be going to Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kochi, Ludhiana, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune and Kolkata.
