Fortis Healthcare Ltd’s net loss increased four-fold to ₹90.86 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, against ₹17.53 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Total income from operations increased to ₹1,088.29 crore (₹1,063.73 crore).
Bhavdeep Singh, CEO, said: “Our focus during the year has been on delivering clinical excellence and superior patient care. Our people work ceaselessly every single day at all our hospitals to make sure that our patients continue to receive the best. We have made substantial headway, in both these critical areas. I am confident that we are moving in the right direction and will continue to record gains as we go forward.”
The company’s shares ended 2.99 per cent higher at ₹173.70 on the BSE on Thursday.
