Fortis to extend services at home

Fortis Hospital has tied up with HealthCare at home (HCAH) to provide health care services at door step. The intention is to provide the best health care to the patients, within their home. The hospital will extend their services to the patients in need of postoperative or rehabilitation care, according to Fortis officials.

Manish Mattoo, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospitals said, “ Through this new partnership, our patients will have a better access to postoperative and rehabilitation care, reduce readmission risks and associated costs.”

Commenting on this association, Vivek Srivastava, Co-Founder and CEO, Healthcare at home said: “Home recovery is known to be the best choice for physical and mental well-being of patients, and speeds up the recovery time.”

Vasundhara Atre, Medical director, Fortis Hospital said: “ This partnership will provide health care services from providers working together to ensure patients move seamlessly through their recuperation and recovery process.”

Gaurav Thukral, Senior Vice President and business Unit Director, HealthCare atHOME said: “ It is a cost effective alternative to extended hospitals stays or institutional care and allows a patient to recover at their own place.”
