Leading toy company Funskool has launched its first toy store in the country in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

According to a press release from the company, the store will offer the complete range of products manufactured and distributed by the company. In addition, Disney board games, Warner Brothers and Nickelodeon board games and puzzles for which the company has the licence in India, will also be available.

Spread over 1,500 sq ft, the store will give children an unforgettable touch and feel experience with the company’s wide array of products, says the release.

Quoting John Baby, Chief Executive Officer of Funskool, the release said, “Our endeavour is to take our complete range of products beyond the metro cities. This store gives us an opportunity to increase our brand presence and to reach out to a wider target audience.” The lack of adequate space for toys in retail stores is a cause of concern and therefore Funskool through its own network of stores will strive to provide exposure to customers to its wide range of products, added the release.
