Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL) on Thursday reported a decline of 27% in net profit and 4% in sales revenues in the second quarter ended September 30, as compared to the corresponding period last fiscal.
While the revenues were Rs 461 crore (Rs 480 crore), profit after tax stood at Rs 48 crore (Rs 66 crore) during the period, according to a press release.
M S Dagur, Managing Director, said the company commissioned a 10.95 megawatt wind farm project at Jamanwada in Kutch district during the quarter.
