Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL) on Monday said its net profit fell 32% and sales decreased by 5% in the first quarter ended June 30, as compared to the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
While sales turnover was Rs 413.38 crore (Rs 438.51 crore), profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 37.30 crore (Rs 55.27 crore), M S Dagur, Managing Director, said in a statement. The PBT decreased by 33.67% to Rs.53.74 crore (Rs.81.02 crore).
