GAIL (India) has set a target of transporting 121.55 mmscmd and market 85.75 mmscmd of natural gas during the financial year 2012-13.
For the current fiscal, GAIL's transmission target was set at 118 mmscmd. Under the annual memorandum of understanding for performance targets during 2012-13 signed with the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas on Monday, GAIL has also set a target to produce 0.43 million tonnes of polymers and 1.3 million tonnes of liquid hydrocarbons.
The firm company has pegged its gross sales for 2012-13 at Rs 43,430 crore and gross margin at Rs 6,287 crore. The company's performance will also be assessed on the basis of other parameters, including corporate governance, research & development, human resource management, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, a company release said.
Several parameters related to implementation of pipeline, petrochemical & city gas projects, capital expenditure, marketing, exploration and production, mergers and acquisitions and safety among others have also been included in the MoU.
