The wind energy major Gamesa, under its brand, Gamesa Electric, has installed and commissioned its first on-grid 500-kW central inverters – 1MW containerised solution at Essar solar photovoltaic plant at Bhuj, in Gujarat, the company said in a press release on Thursday.
Gamesa Electric has installed and commissioned more than 1,500 PV Central inverters worldwide. It has been in power electronics since 1979.
The 1-MW photovoltaic plant has been synchronised with the Paschim Gujarat Vij Grid.
