Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) has recorded a 29 per cent drop in consolidated net profit at ₹236.28 crore (₹334.14 crore) for the quarter ending March 31.
Total income increased by 11 per cent from ₹1,745 crore to ₹1,950 crore during the quarter.
The decrease in profit was due to the exceptional income last year of ₹129 crore due to the sale of its foods business in Indonesia.
