Of the ten workers injured in an ammonia compressor blast on Saturday in the Glochem Industries pharma unit at Parawada in Visakhapatnam district, one was discharged on Sunday and the others are showing signs of improvement and all are in a stable condition in different private hospitals in the city, according to a company spokesman.
The blast occurred at the unit on Saturday morning, when ammonia escaped from the compressor. The workers inhaled ammonia and fell unconscious at the spot. They were taken to different hospitals.
