Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) today reported a marginal dip in standalone net profit by 0.1 per cent at Rs 112.2 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012, against the corresponding period of last fiscal. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 112.4 crore in the October-December quarter of last fiscal.
The total income from operations of the company also declined to Rs 353 crore, over 383 crore for the same period in FY’12, it said.
Shares of GMDC closed at Rs 193.60, down 0.72 per cent from their previous close on the BSE.
