The Gujarat Government has appointed Dr Rajiv Gupta as the new Managing Director of State-promoted Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GNFC).
A Gujarat cadre IAS officer of the 1986 batch, he is an expert in water and international laws, and associated with the Institute of International Law at the International Court of Justice, The Hague.
He will hold additional charge as MD, GNFC, besides his current responsibilities as the Principal Secretary in the State Government’s departments of climate change and water supply, besides a host of other responsibilities, according to an official release here on Friday.
