Budget carrier GoAir today announced a special scheme for women travellers, offering upgrade to business class for Rs 699, to mark the International Women’s Day which falls on March 8 every year.
The offer will remain valid for three days starting from tomorrow, the airline said in a release here.
Women travellers constitute nearly 23 per cent of the airline’s total passengers’ traffic.
The upgrade, which is at a 60 per cent discount than the usual price, is applicable on all GoAir direct flights, operating across 21 airports, it said.
The Nusli Wadia-promoted airline offers eight business class seats in its aircraft.
Besides more leg space, a priority check-in and deplaning and complimentary refreshments are the additional facilities that GoAir provides its business class passengers.
“We are excited that GoAir can bring women travellers to choose a service that is sensitive to their needs of comfort, privacy and convenience at a highly affordable value.
We strongly believe that GoBusiness as a proposition completely befits the needs of contemporary women travellers,” GoAir chief commercial officer Girish Nair said.
