GoAir waives off preferred seating charges to attract voters

GoAir has waived off preferred seating charges on specific dates in a bid to encourage flyers to vote.

“On the scheduled dates of elections, bookings for all departures from that particular city will attract no seat selection charges as we offer our customers the freedom to choose their seat,” said a GoAir spokesperson.

This means that usual charges of Rs. 500 for seats with extra leg room and Rs. 200 for window or aisle seats would not be charged on the designated polling day for the departure city.

The offer can be availed by contacting GoAir’s call centre and is valid for travel up to May 12.
