After marking its foray in the National Capital Region earlier, Godrej Properties has announced its first residential project in New Delhi. The company has entered into a development agreement with Southend Infrastructure to develop a five-acre property situated in Okhla Phase 1 in New Delhi as a luxury residential group housing project. This will be the Mumbai-based real estate developer’s first development in New Delhi and its third in NCR. The company is also currently developing two residential projects in Gurgaon. Pirojsha Godrej, Managing Director & CEO, said: “NCR is a key part of our growth strategy and we believe this project's strategic location will help grow our presence in the region.” This project is expected to be the first project under the residential investment platform that Godrej Properties established last fiscal.
