Gokaldas Exports has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Andhra Pradesh government for setting up of four apparel manufacturing units in Chittoor district.
The company is planning to spend Rs 200 crore over a period of next three years which is likely to generate about 5,000 new jobs.
The said investment is however subject to such terms and conditions as requested and sought by Gokaldas Exports including appropriate infrastructural support and relevant incentives and subsidies being made available to the company with the Andhra Pradesh government.
