SAMHI Hotels will utilise the funds to expand its footprint through acquisitions across India, it added.

As of December 2015, SAMHI owns 16 hotels and another 10 are in advanced stages of development.
Co-founded by Ashish Jakhanwala and Manav Thadani, SAMHI’s current shareholders include Sam Zell led Equity International, GTI Capital Group, and IFC (member of the World Bank Group).
