The two-month long initiative – Cup of Hope ( Ummeed Ka Pyala ) - undertaken by the Goodricke Group Ltd in Madhya Pradesh recently came to an end.
Launched as corporate social responsibility initiative, the campaign was undertaken to spread awareness and support the cause of children and adults faced with mental and developmental disabilities.
The campaign started from Bhopal in February and travelled across four cities and 16 towns of Madhya Pradesh over a period of two months, said a company press statement.
The funds generated under this campaign would be used to support the cause of the differently-abled through NGO partners – Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy in Kolkata and Digdarshika in Bhopal. The company plans to replicate the campaign in other States as well, the release said.
