Mr T N Manoharan and Mr Ashok Kacker, the Government appointed nominees on the board of Satyam Computer Services, have stepped down. “They cease to be the directors with effect from July 16, conforming to the Company Law Board order in 2009,” the company said in a notice to Bombay Stock Exchange here on Tuesday.
These were the last two to go from the board appointed by the Union Government in the second week of January 2009, superseding the then board in the erstwhile management.
While Mr Manoharan belonged to the original team of directors appointed by the Government, Mr Kacker had been co-opted by the firm in February 2012. He was taken on board after the demise of Achutan.
