Riding on the back of higher price realisation and a rise in other income, Graphite India Ltd posted 10 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 46 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012, as compared with Rs 42 crore during the same period last year.

Net sales dipped by 12 per cent to Rs 408 crore (Rs 465 crore) during the period under review.

Though there was a dip in net sales, electrode price realisation has seen an upward trend on both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter basis, said a company press statement.
