Greenko Group has signed an agreement with Lanco Infratech Ltd to buy its 70 MW Budhil hydel power project.
The Lanco Group subsidiary, Lanco Hydro Power Ltd (LHPL), and Tejassarnika Hydro Energies Private Ltd, a subsidiary of Hyderabad-based Greenko, have agreed to strike a deal wherein the former will divest 100 per cent stake in the 70 MW Lanco Budhil Hydro Power Project.
LHPL has also entered into a memorandum to sell two small hydro power plants of 5 MW each in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh to Greenko Energies Ltd.
