State-run gas distributor GSPC Gas Company has cut the piped natural gas prices for industrial users in Gujarat by ₹1 per standard cubic meter (scm).
This is the second consecutive month that GSPC Gas — a subsidiary of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) — has reduced prices of piped natural gas supplied to industrial units.
In November, the company scaled down prices by ₹2 per scm.
“Considering the level of natural gas prices in the international market, GSPC Gas has decided to reduce gas prices for its industrial users to be effective from December 16,” a company statement said.
The revised rate for PNG-industrial is ₹38.65 per scm (without taxes), against the earlier rate of ₹39.65 per scm. The downward revision is the second in less than a month. The company has over 1,900 industrial consumers in the State.
