The State-run city gas distribution company- Gujarat Gas Ltd posted standalone net profit of Rs 61.08 crore for the quarter ended September 30, indicating a drop of 12 per cent from Rs 69.47 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Company's standalone total income stood at Rs 1,439.04 crore for the quarter under review, up from Rs 1,278.6 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
For the six months period April-September, company's standalone net profit stood at Rs 165.43 crore, up by 14 per cent from Rs 144.30 crore reported in the same period last year.
Standalone total income for the six months stood at Rs 2,963.77 crore, which was higher than Rs 2,545 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), GGL shares ended negative at Rs 960.70 on Monday down by about 0.3 per cent from previous close.
