GVK Power & Infrastructure’s consolidated net loss narrowed to Rs 123.5 crore during the quarter ended September 30, on higher income from operations, particularly the power and airports segments.
The group has posted a net loss after taxes, minority interest and share profit/(loss) of associates of Rs 123.5 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to net loss of Rs 235.57 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014,” GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd said in a BSE filing.
The company’s total income has increased from Rs 727.29 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014-15 to Rs 1,115.02 crore for the same quarter of the current financial year (2015-16).
The company’s income from the power segment increased to Rs 311.19 crore during the quarter under review, from Rs 32.08 crore in the year-ago period.
Similarly, the revenues from the airports segment increased to Rs 674.53 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal from Rs 592.80 crore year ago.
The revenue of the roads segment increased to Rs 82.60 crore in the second quarter compared to Rs 73.88 crore year ago.
