HAL pays second interim

HAL has presented the second interim dividend of ₹377 crore (78.21 per cent) of the paid-up share capital (₹482 crore) to the government. T Suvarna Raju, CMD, HAL, handed over the cheque to Manohar Parrikar, Defence Minister, at the on-gong Defexpo. The total dividend payment for 2015-16 works out to ₹510 crore (105.81 per cent) of the paid-up share capital (₹482 crore), excluding dividend distribution tax of ₹103.82 crore. Ashok Kumar Gupta, Secretary, Defence Production, and other senior officials from MoD and HAL were present on the occasion.
