Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd’s profits on a standalone basis are lower by 17.02 per cent at ₹455.19 crore for the third quarter (Q3) of FY 2018-19 as against ₹548.59 crore recorded in the same period last year.
The company’s income from operations was flat at ₹4,482.83 crore as against ₹4,462.92 crore in the same period last year. EPS for Q3 stood at ₹13.61 compared with ₹15.33 last year. The company, in a notification to exchanges, said Dipali Khanna has been re-appointed as part-time non-official independent women director on the board for one year.
Also, the company said a SU-30 MK I fighter aircraft manufactured for the IAF crashed on June 27, 2018 near Nasik during flight trials. An insurance claim was lodged with ₹258 crore declared as value. The company received the claim amount on January 4.
