The Hallmark division of greetings cards producer, Archies, has launched its distribution network in Western India, and has plans to go pan-India with over 100 retail stores over the next three years.
In January this year, the US-based ‘social expressions' company inked a licence agreement with Archies to open up exclusive Hallmark stores in India and also expand the retail footprint. Under the agreement, the latter is authorised to produce and market cards in India, sell them to licensees in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and also provide Hallmark with designs for cards for Indian occasions like Rakhi and Diwali for sale in overseas markets.
